Interview With The CEO of NomadCast Tim Le Borgne and Bitly

In this episode of The Law Enforcement Social Media Podcast, Mike and I discuss a photo I posted on my department's Facebook page, and we talk about the power of the link. You'll also get to listen to an interview we did with the Founder and CEO of NomadCast.

Bitly - The Power of the Link

Bitly allows you to easily save and share your favorite links from around the web.  After you sign up for a free account, you will see the option to paste a link at the top of the page.

Copy a link from your browser and simply paste it in the box on the top of the page.  This automatically saves your link as a Bitlink.  You then have the option to archive it, edit it, tag it and share it via Twitter, Facebook or Email. Lastly, you have the option to customize your link.

All the links you save will be accessible at any time under your Bitlinks, located on the left side of the page.

You can also track your bitlinks.  You can compare your bitlink’s performance to that of all bitlinks pointing to the same content, find out who else is sharing a bitlink to the same content, and see what social networks and geographic regions are providing traffic easier than ever before.
