A Book About Twitter For Law Enforcement

A Book About Twitter For Law Enforcement

In Episode 9 of the Law Enforcement Social Media Podcast, we interview the author of the book, "How To Use Twitter - A Guide For Law Enforcement."

Chief Billy Grogan's book is set to be released on Amazon on July 20th, 2015.

About The Book

This book walks you through the basics of setting up a Twitter account, such as selecting a username or "handle," to creating your header photo. Chief Grogan offers suggestions where you can obtain help for certain items, like graphics, for a small expense.

From there, you'll learn the language of Twitter. Chief Grogan goes over everything you need to know, such as tweets, retweets, and hashtags. He even offers suggestions of great accounts to follow, such as the Mountain View Police Department in California and the Boca Police Department in Florida.

As you progress through the book, you'll start learning more advanced techniques. From auto-posting messages to using video in your tweets, Chief Grogan makes it all understandable.

Although aimed at law enforcement social media, this book is helpful for any public safety type of social media.
